Celia Llácer began her conducting studies with Maestro Borja Quintas before earning a Master of Arts in Orchestral Conducting from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where she studied under Johannes Schlaefli and Christoph-Mathias Mueller. She has further refined her artistry through masterclasses with Iván Fischer, Jaap van Zweden, and Emmanuel Villaume.

She has conducted orchestras including The Dallas Opera, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, and the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra, among others.

For the 2025–27 seasons, Llácer serves as Assistant Conductor of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Previously, she worked as Assistant Conductor with the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège during the 2023–24 season, collaborating closely with Gergely Madaras. In the 2024–25 season, she was Chief Conductor of the Junges Kammerorchester Ostschweiz.

Llácer has been selected for several prestigious international training programmes. Most recently, she participated in the Ammodo Conducting Masterclass, conducting the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under the mentorship of Iván Fischer. She was also invited to the Verbier Festival, where she worked with both the Verbier Festival Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, collaborating with conductors including Sir Simon Rattle, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Lahav Shani.

In 2024, she conducted the Gstaad Festival Orchestra as part of the Gstaad Conducting Academy. The previous year, she was selected for The Dallas Opera’s Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors and participated in the Tanglewood Music Center, working with the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artists Orchestra.

Deeply committed to contemporary music and collaborative artistic practice, Llácer appeared at the 2025 Ensemble(s) Festival, where she conducted the world premieres of works by Daniel Arango Prada and Farnaz Modarresifar. These performances reflect her ongoing dedication to working closely with living composers and championing the creation of new repertoire.
